This event is sponsored by the National Farmers Union Foundation’s Local Food Safety Collaborative. Dr. Cheryl Murphy will speak from Michigan State University to share her expertise on the emerging food safety research surrounding forever chemicals, also known as PFAS. The event will take place December 4, 2023, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

This year's theme is "Impact of Climate Change on Food Safety."

This meeting will be held December 12-14, 2023. 

This conference is co-organized by the Australia Association for Food Protection and the Australian Institute for Food Science and Technology [AIFST]). The event will speak to the challenges, complexity, and opportunities posed by microorganisms in our food supply. In doing so we seek to raise the profile of food microbiology and the importance of ongoing research and development activities in the field. More information will be posted soon.

In this two and a half day online workshop, our HACCP expert will guide you through the steps for writing and implementing an intelligent and effective HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plan. Because you learn HACCP planning best by doing it, you will actually write a sample plan in class and learn the critical components through small group exercises. Plus, you will review examples of real HACCP plans and learn about common reasons why HACCP plans fail, so you can make sure your plan succeeds.
