This workshop is designed for directors and technicians of industries, consultancies and laboratories of food and feed, and other sectors (microbiological, biotechnological, clinical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, environmental, etc.); inspectors and other administration staff; university professors and technical staff, graduate and postgraduate students; people from other research centres; etc.

This conference will help to create awareness, engagement, and collaborations among different stakeholders. Early registration rates end October 1, 2025.

Course Overview: The FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCHF) Version 2.0 course is designed to equip participants with the latest knowledge and skills required to develop and implement a food safety plan in compliance with the FDA's Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). This updated curriculum replaces Version 1.2, which will be retired on June 30, 2025. Starting July 1, 2025, only PCHF Version 2.0 will be available for participant course registration and delivery.

This two-day workshop focuses on what we know of the new SQF 10. We may not be 100 % sure what the changes will be, but content will provide continuous improvement for your FS Management system. This includes the understanding of the Safe Quality Food Institute’s food safety fundamentals and codes (formerly titled Levels 1 and 2). This course also addresses the divisions between food safety and quality requirements in SQF and the best way to integrate these with the current food safety and quality management system. Participants will receive a detailed understanding of overall focus and application plus the most up-to-date vocabulary, Food Sector Categories, and an overview of auditing and certification of SQF systems. You will also learn techniques for value-added internal audits.

This meeting will be held March 17-19, 2026.

This workshop is intended for food industry professionals, testing lab personnel, and regulators. Registration is open; early registration rates end March 25, 2026.

This short course explores the latest advances in food-borne pathogens, toxins, and contaminants in food plant environments. Through a mix of classroom learning and hands-on lab sessions, participants will learn techniques for isolating key spoilage microorganisms and pathogens, while gaining practical insight into the critical role food microbiologists play in ensuring food safety.
