IAFP to Host Sixth European Symposium on Food Safety

The International Association of Food Protection's Sixth European Symposium on Food Safety will be held in Dublin, Ireland at the University College Dublin. Based on attendee and exhibitor input, the symposium has moved to 9-11 June 2010 from its traditional fall date. The conference is organised in collaboration with the International Life Sciences Institute Europe, the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
IAFP's European Symposium is a three-day conference, featuring daily concurrent sessions. This year's program, featuring over 30 expert speakers, has been specifically designed to facilitate interaction between other food safety professionals as well as the presenters and offers many opportunities to meet and exchange information on food safety, including workshops, exhibits and poster sessions.
The symposium is shaping the future of food safety by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas with colleagues from across Europe, North America and many other parts of the world working in industry, government and academia.
IAFP is accepting submissions for poster and technical presentations for the European Symposium. The Call for Abstracts and submission form are available at: www.foodprotection.org. Students are encouraged to apply for the Student Poster Competition, which will award the top two student presenters. One award will also be given to the best overall non-student poster or technical presenter.
